Għal ħafna snin il-preżenza tal-Ġiżwiti kienet ta’ ispirazzjoni umana u spiritwali għal ħafna, mhux biss Għawdxin imma wkoll Maltin. It-tmexxija ta’ din id-Dar tal-Irtiri kif ukoll l-akkoljenza marbuta magħha kienet għal ħafna snin don għall-Knisja f’Għawdex.
Id-Djoċesi ser tipprova tieħu l-impenn li din id-Dar tibqa’ sservi l-iskop ewlieni tagħha, jiġifieri ser tibqa’ ta’ animazzjoni spiritwali, dar tal-irtiri u ta’ akkoljenza kif kienet matul is-snin.

THE MANRESA HOUSE IN THE DIOCESE OF GOZO
The Diocese of Gozo wishes to express its profound gratitude to the Society of Jesus for its dedicated service over the past 72 years through the administration of the Manresa Retreat House and its pastoral care for the Christian faithful in the area bordering Victoria.
For many decades, the Jesuit presence has served as a source of both human and spiritual inspiration to numerous individuals, Gozitans and Maltese alike. The stewardship of this retreat house, together with the spirit of hospitality that has always characterised it, has been a true blessing to the Gozitan community.
The Diocese is committed to ensuring that the Manresa Retreat House continues to fulfil its principal mission. It shall remain a place of spiritual renewal, retreat, and warm hospitality, as it has faithfully been throughout the years.
